We are proud to be a Christian School community and try to reflect Christian values in the way we teach, learn and interact with others. Our aim is that all of our pupils feel happy, secure and valued, enabling them to become confident successful learners with the motivation, skills and responsibility to make a positive difference in God's world.
We are a Rights Respecting School and work hard to ensure our website respects Article 17 from the United Nations Charter on the Rights of the Child. It states that children have the right to get information that is important to their well-being, from radio, newspapers, books, computers and other sources. Adults should make sure that the information they are getting is not harmful, and help them to find and understand the information they need.
A message from the Headteacher
Welcome to the March Church of England Primary School website. I hope you will find it informative and that it gives you a feel for the real ethos of the school.
At March CE Primary we concentrate on giving every child in the school the opportunity for personal achievement. The acquisition of knowledge and skills is the entitlement of every child irrespective of ability or background.
I hope that you will want to visit the March Church of England School. I would very much like to meet you, but more importantly, I would like you to see the school, talk to the children and staff and experience first-hand the wonderful opportunities that we are able to offer our children.
We have over 200 children at our school who are taught by a dedicated team of teachers and teaching assistants. We believe in a creative curriculum which identifies the talents of each child and enables them to flourish. Our Governors and Senior Leadership Team work together to make sure our school builds on its already significant achievements. We aim to be an outstanding school and our supportive parents are instrumental in helping us to achieve this aim.
Our curriculum is designed to meet a wide variety of needs and strengths. We are pleased that our school is a vibrant member of our community and we enjoy links with the Goodwood Estate and Rolls-Royce. We also have links with our local older residents. As a school we enjoy working closely with a committed team of governors and would welcome you as a member of our lively Friends Association if you would like to take part.
However, this site is not only intended for those who are new to The March CE Primary. I would also like to welcome pupils, parents, governors and staff of the school. This site has been designed with you in mind.
You should find all the information you need about the school here on this interactive site. If, however, we have missed something please do contact us and we will be happy to help.
